Jubilee Mini Pilgrimage and Mass
All young adults are invited to our Archdiocesan Jubilee Mass and Mini-Pilgrimage! Join us on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9:00 am to 1 pm. We’ll meet at St. Joseph Church (1505 Kane St, Houston) for Mass at 9 am with Bishop Italo Dell’Oro, CRS. Then, we’ll walk 5 miles on the Bayou Trail near Memorial Drive. Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes and active wear, your Jubilee t-shirt. Please bring a water bottle and lunch. For more info and to register, visit: www.archgh.org/yapilgrimage.
Pope Francis has declared that 2025 will be a Jubilee year, and all young adults (ages 18-39) are invited to join the archdiocesan pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi to participate! This pilgrimage offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich history of Rome, walk through the holy doors for the Jubilee year, participate the Canonization Mass of Pier Giorgio Frassati with Pope Francis, and visit the home of Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi. Cost for the trip is $3,881 per person (flights not included). Any interested young adults (ages 18-39) are welcome to register! After completing that step, you’ll receive an email with full details about the trip before you agree and get added to the registration list.
Charis Retreat for Young Adults
All young adults (ages 18-39) are invited to the upcoming Charis Retreat: What Next? This retreat offers young adults an opportunity to step away from busy lives and prayerfully reflect on the transitions they have experienced or are currently facing. This is a 3-day, 2-night retreat based on Ignatian Spirituality and will be held on April 25-27, 2025, at the Circle Lake Retreat Center (19000 Circle Lake Dr., Pinehurst, TX). Called to Love
The Office of Vocations invites you to join Called to Love, a Lenten Series for young adults at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Join them for a Lenten Journey focused on Jesus’s New Commandment. Discover how God calls each of us to grow closer to Him by loving our neighbors. Through the Focolare spirituality, you will learn the Art of Loving, a practical yet profound way to love your neighbors and transform your relationships and your daily life. Café Catholica Lite: May 22, 2025
Our next Café Catholica Lite will be held on May 22, 2025, at Sts. Simon and Jude Parish (26777 Glen Loch Dr, The Woodlands) from 7:00-8:45 pm. Our speaker will be Steffani Aquila, founder of His Girl Sunday. Steffani's talk will be titled “Seasons of Grace: Embracing the Liturgical Year in Daily Life,” which will explore practical ways to align your home, personal, and family life with the rhythms of the liturgical year and create a deeper connection to living an incarnational faith. Heart-to-Heart Adoration
All young adults are invited to Heart-to-Heart adoration nights held on the last Tuesday of the month at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 7-8:15 pm. Heart-to-Heart offers Eucharistic adoration, confession, gifted prayer teams, and praise and worship music. Come to listen to the heart of Jesus! After prayer, join young adults at a nearby bar for drinks and socializing.
Adoration by Candlelight
Adoration by Candlelight will be held at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart (1111 St. Joseph Pkwy, Houston) once a month from 7-8 pm. Adoration includes music from 1,000 years of the Catholic treasury provided by Schola Cantorum of the Co-Cathedral.
